DAVE SHAW
Born in Shropshire, UK in 1973. He grew up listening to
Depeche Mode, Malcolm McClaren and Kraftwerk. Dave has
been composing and Djing Tech House music for 5 years,
having been inspired by BT, Joey Beltram & New Order. He
has played in some of the UK’s top clubs in London &
Birmingham, but is solely now just concentrating on
production. He is currently busy running his production
company Darkdrum Recordings, and is writing new material
under a variety of guises & collaborations. Be on the lookout
for new material from Dave, Far Fetched Thoughts &
Porteeco. Already Estabilished with Labels such as Knob,
Coldharbour / Armada and Voodoo Records.
STEVE O'NEILL
Steve was born in Hastings in 1973 and has always had a
passion for music. From the age of 18 Steve has followed
Jungle, Rave, Happy hardcore, Hip hop, Trance, early 90’s
Anthems, Hard house and finally came to find his passion in
House music. He took the plunge and decided to learn to DJ
after a trip to Ibiza in 2000.
Steve's musical style can be described as all things chunky!
He is very into electro, dirty house, and the chunkier side of
some of the funky stuff!!! With four years solo experience,
and two years in partnership with DJ Nimrod Randall
(collectively known as Funkvictims).
Steve has decided to pursue his dream and produce his own
material. An accidental meeting at his own funky house
night Shush in Telford saw Steve meet David Shaw, an
already establish DJ/producer.
The pair hit it off and formed TOUCH DIRTY.
In 2007, Knob Records features the Touch Dirty releases,
"Take a Ride EP" and "Take a Ride EP (Dubstrumentals)".
