ARTIST  FAR FETCHED THOUGHTS |

FAR FETCHED THOUGHTS are a Tech House production team
combining the technical skills of Dave Shaw with the DJ
expertise of Attison. FFT has been recently put together in
2005, spanning all genres with in House & Techno. They have
just returned from the Winter Music Conference 2006,
picking up several projects off the back of a well received
first promo CD. With all there elements that seem to be in
place, they are looking forward to establishing themselves
as a major player in the future of Tech House Music over the
next couple of years.
Inidividual Bios:
DAVE SHAW
Born in Shropshire, UK in 1973. He grew up listening to
Depeche Mode, Malcolm McClaren and Kraftwerk. Dave has
been composing and Djing Tech House music for 5 years,
having been inspired by BT, Joey Beltram & New Order. He
has played in some of the UK’s top clubs in London &
Birmingham, but is solely now just concentrating on
production. He is currently busy running his production
company Darkdrum Recordings, and is writing new material
under a variety of guises & collaborations. Be on the lookout
for new material from Dave, Far Fetched Thoughts &
Porteeco.
ATTISON
Born in the Midlands, UK in 1970, He grew up listening to The
Stylistics, Stevie Wonder & the Jackson 5 and by the 80’s
this was The Human League, Malcolm McClaren and the
Sugar Hill Gang. He Stated DJing in 1999 and have formed
his style of Soulful, Disco, Electro, Jackin Deep Westcoast
House. Over the last 7 Years his reputation has been
building, playing across the UK and Ibiza, from the mighty
“Miss Monneypenny’s” @ HQ in Birmingham & El Divino in
Ibiza to Resonance @ The Canal Club, having played
alongside the legends that are Ron Carroll, Jim Shaft Ryan,
Brandon Block, Jeremy Healy, Graeme Park, Seamus Haji
and The Freemasons to name but a few.
In 2006, Knob Records features Far Fetched Thoughts track
titled, “Feel It In Your Soul”.
