For 13 years now, Alex Hall has been sowing the seeds of
quality tracks in the Midwest dance music scene. These
seeds have grown into a bountiful crop of track work, play
lists, and gigs that could feed the largest of appetites. The
former half of the Marscruiser production duo is now on his
own as a solo artist and is back on the DJ circuit nationwide
to share his emotional and passionate vision of dance music
with clubbers everywhere.

2006 has been a tireless year for Alex in the studio. For the
first half of the year, Alex Has done several original tracks,
as well numerous remixes for labels like Toes in the Sand,
Biohazard Productions, and Knob Records, with upcoming
remixes for Undermine Records and Pangea Recordings. His
first solo release, Future Living, got solid international
reviews and support from all points on the globe. His new
side project with partner Bill Voecks will be coming out soon
on his new label Longhall Recordings under the moniker
Biont in late 2006.

His musical style, tagged Breakmeat and Trekhouse, is a
blend of meaty breakbeat and futuristic Star Trek type
house. The past few years has seen Alex playing all over the
U.S. in places like Philadelphia, Washington DC, Los Angeles,
San Diego, Minneapolis, Chicago, Omaha, New York City,
Cleveland, St. Louis, Omaha, Kansas City, Austin, Pensacola,
Spundae in Chicago, and Summerfest in Milwaukee. His DJ
career has had him opening for the likes of Frankie Bones,
Green Velvet, Hardfloor, Goldie, DJ Irene and Simply Jeff.
His DJ sets have found a solid following on the infamous
Hybridized.org website, as well as on XM Satellite Radio in
the USA.

On the production side, Alex has had his tracks played by
the likes of John Digweed, Lee Burridge, Deepsky, D:Fuse,
Markus Schulz and Chris Fortier. Alex's tracks have been
played on BBC Radio 1 and KISS 100 in London, as well as XM
Satellite Radio in the USA. His tracks have charted on dance
music charts for Balance Record Pool, Juno Records,
Release Records, and 3 Beat Digital, and have appeared on
compilations from Strictly Hype, Fire Recordings, and React
